At VNG, I worked on distributed backend systems for a production multiplayer platform. I optimized network payloads and API contracts, modernized traffic routing with Envoy and Kubernetes autoscaling, and helped engineer reliable data replication for a large cloud migration from AWS to Tencent Cloud.

At Gigawrks, I worked across full-stack product development and backend infrastructure for a real-time communications platform. I focused on improving video-call performance, expanding one-to-one messaging into community spaces, and building low-latency APIs and WebSocket workflows across React Native and Go.

In the CSAI Lab, I helped turn academic forecasting work into usable software for large geospatial datasets. The role pushed me to bridge research and engineering by building pipelines, APIs, and deployment workflows that made experiments reproducible and results easier for others to explore.

As Technical Lead, my role has been part builder and part mentor. I help students ship faster by designing project infrastructure, reviewing code, and turning workshops into practical sessions where people leave with clearer debugging habits and more confidence building with modern web tools.

In this role, I led the software side of a student robotics team and learned how to turn scattered technical effort into a system the whole team could build on. My focus was not just writing control code, but creating structure around architecture, collaboration, and debugging so autonomous behavior became more reliable and easier for others to extend.
